Autosave, by defaut this mod does not automatically save the game, you need to configure it to do so, and by that you need to launch the game one time.The first place were I'm obligated to recomend is the Mod Index on the official forums, and the three first mods I need to recomend are LazyLib, MagicLib and GraphicsLib, the first two are used by most mod makers as a way to create mods faster, and the latter is used on some mods, it also makes the game have better graphics, now for the list: I will say, some mods can change a lot of the game, so have caution. LazyLib is a library required by most other Starsector mods. Speedup in particular helps tremendously in slower battles and Unknown Skies brings alot of variety to the systems and planets you encounter. (EDIT) I find even smaller quality of life mods like and gameplay enhancers like make the game more enjoyable and pretty to play. I've found my favorite endgame is building huge colonies between multiple systems and befriending the sector or taking over whose who can't be reasoned with (Luddic Path I'm looking at you.) If that interests you, I recommend mods like and to allow for more creative colony setups and an expanded diversity of the types of empires you can create. If you crave more endgame, Nexelrin and Vayra's Sector (Mentioned in the link) add a ton of additional missions, mechanics and some lore fitting ships to the game.
